Weekend full of song

HI all,
It's been a long time. Let's see. Easter weekend was great. We were running around like crazy but had a great time. Nathan loved doing easter egg hunts. I was exhausted by the time we got home at 1AM on Sunday night. Hence the no posting this past week... just too exhausted all week to even think about it.

This weekend was rainy. Which meant we spent the entire weekend trying to distract Nathan from his favorite word... "OUTSIDE". Every time we would put the dog collar on he would want to go out with her, no matter the torrential downpour. So to distract him we painted and played with play doh and watched the wiggles and jumped around the house and played crazy little boy in his crib. If you have never played this game it's hilarious. Nathan gets in his crib and then stands up and yells "DADDY!!!" until Daddy looks at him and yells "NATHAN!!!" Then he flings himself into his pillow, gets up, runs back and forth in the crib and then stands and yells "DADDY!!!" again. Lots of fun for all. Plus it really tires him out so he will actually take a nap.

At dinner time both nights Nathan would just break into song. Most of the time we coudln't really understand what he was singing because he was mumbling and just doing hand motions. But two of the favorite songs were "Head, shoulder, knees and toes", and "Quack, quack quack, cookadoodle do" from the Wiggles. He just loved it when we would join in and we would have to sing it again and again and again.

We actually had a great time this weekend even though we were stuck in the house. All of us were sad to see the weekend end.
