Nathan's Family

Nathan is really starting to draw. His teacher told me the other day that some kids start drawing and work up their skills over time and slowly get better. Nathan would be what you might describe as a late bloomer. He really has not been into drawing much before. And now all of a sudden they can't stop him from drawing and you can actually make out what's in the drawings. They put out large swaths of paper for him everyday and usually I bring home at least one large roll of drawings with five to six regular paper sized drawings. Mostly he draws his family and the characters from the Backyardigans doing different things. I thought the one below was a pretty good representative of his family pictures. Daddy is holding Nicholas (with his gimungus hands) and Nathan and mommy are at the bottom holding hands.
