Please Sir May I have Another

Bread and water. That's all Nathan has eaten for the past 5 days, with the exception of some fruit and the occasional hot dog. We've offered him all the usual fare and all he wants is bread. Plus since he had the runs we've been giving him pedialyte instead of milk. Poor guy. He seems happy enough though (except for this morning which was an exceptionally cranky morning). Hopefully he'll decide to eat more soon.

Matt made it home alright yesterday. He got a late start and just barely beat us home even after we went to the grocery store. Nathan had a good time playing with daddy. Matt swears Nathan grew a few inches while he was gone (I doubt it). And Matt was back on middle of the night duty. Finally we can get back to our normal routine.

As many of you know, one of my very close friend's father lives in New Orleans. Unfortunately he did not evacuate and is now stuck in his house (or so we believe). Suzanna lost contact with him on Monday afternoon. He is on the rescue list but that is about all the information she has about his situation at the moment. From what she can gleam from the press reports, he is in a section of the Jefferson Parrish that did not get hit as hard. Hopefully that will continue to be the case and hopefully she will hear from him soon. Please just keep her and her family in your thoughts and prayers.

Well time for lunch and then back to work. Have a great day
