Dentist Visit

Nathan and Nicholas went to the dentist on Tuesday. This was Nathans' second visit and Nicholas' first. But this was a new dentist for both of them. Nathan was very excited to get a X-Ray. He's been talking about getting to see his bones since the day they did the letter X in preschool. He was being wiggly (like usual) and they had a slightly tough time getting his tongue to stay out of the way but they got it. Then they did his cleaning with the power brush thing and everything and he did a good job although they had to change flavors for him (to plain) because he didn't like the first one. Overall not too bad. When they brought the Xrays out to show him he was not impressed because he wanted to see bones in his body, not his teeth.

Nicholas was also a very big boy. They didn't do xrays or use the power brush at first. They just brushed his teeth and counted them. Then they saw he had a little stain on one of this teeth and so she polished that and he was fine with that. This is a pediatric dentist so she said in the future they like to bring the kids back by themselves (in fact I stayed out of the room while nathan was getting his work done). She said nicholas is mature enough to come back by himself as well even though he's only 2. That's good.

Nathan has seemed to be calming down a little bit. For the past couple of weeks he has been crazy, not listening when we go out in public. So we've had many talks about this and lots of time outs and I think he's starting to get it. I'm still worried about kindergarten in the fall but my feeling is right now to send him. If he needs to repeat it because of his maturity level, fine. We'll see as the time gets closer.

That's about it. No new news on the house hunting front. Have a great day.
