Nicholas is 13 weeks old. Our doctor does appointments every 6 weeks so he doesn't have to give more than two vaccine shots at the same time. Nicholas screamed like a banshee at yesterday's appointment. The doc even puts a topical anesthetic on but it didn't seem to help. He gave the first shot and nicholas started screaming. And then he took off the little bandage on the other leg that had the cream on it and he started screaming again before he even got the shot.
Here are the stats:
14 lbs 10oz (65th percentile)
24 inches (32nd percentile)
Now 65th percentile doesn't seem all that big does it... but when you think that his height is only in the 32nd percentile you realize he's a roly poly little guy. A very cute roly poly little guy. He grew three inches and put on three pounds since his last visit six weeks ago.
After all the trauma of yesterday he slept from 7:30PM to 4AM straight. Then he took a bottle and went back to sleep until 7AM. Pretty good. We'll see how he does tonight.
