Nicholas Ian

He's here, but I bet you've heard that by now. Here are the details:

Born: August 22, 2006
Weight: 8 pounds, 5 ounces
Length: 19.5 inches

He is doing just fine - keeping busy doing the things babys do - eating, sleeping, pooping (not necessarily in that order, and sometimes all at once). He's a pretty laid back kid so far - he only cries when he gets his diaper changed, not so much when he's hungry. I'm sure this won't last, but its a nice start. Mommy isn't feeling too well - I spend most of the day yesterday traipsing all over CT and RI taking her for tests and getting drugs. No worries, though - nothing too serious, and she should be fine in a couple days. Nathan is slowly warming up to his little brother - but if Mommy is holding Nicholas, Nathan wants nothing to do with her. Earlier today, he saw her walking around without Nicholas and promptly threw himself at her to be hugged. Grammy, Pappy, Aunt Stacy, Connor, & Logan (Alison's parents, sister, and nephews, for those without a score card) are here until Sunday, and then Grandma, Grandpop, and Aunt Megan (Matt's parents & sister) will be here on Wednesday, so we think Nathan is enjoying extra attention. It'll be interesting when the company leaves but the baby stays - we'll see how he reacts. Enjoy the pictures below.
